Every love story has its own rhythm, and mine with Agbor unfolded in God’s perfect timing—far greater than anything I could have planned.

In the midst of the uncertainty of COVID, at a simple cookout with friends, I met Agbor for the very first time. What felt like an ordinary introduction was, in truth, a divine appointment. We exchanged numbers, and a quiet connection began. At the time, life had us on different paths, yet God allowed us to remain in each other’s lives in the smallest ways—a birthday message, a holiday greeting—gentle reminders that our story was not over.

As time passed, God brought us back together in an unexpected and meaningful way—at a friend’s father’s funeral. In that moment, I could see His hand clearly. The timing was finally right. We were both in a place where our hearts were open, ready to receive the love God had prepared for us.

What began as friendship blossomed into a beautiful, God-centered love—one built on faith, laughter, patience, and unwavering support. Through every step, God has been writing our story, aligning our paths, and teaching us what it means to love one another with grace and purpose.

Today, with a grateful heart, I know that “He has made everything beautiful in its time” (Ecclesiastes 3:11). I am beyond thankful to walk into this next chapter of life with Agbor, hand in hand and guided by God.
